Hicri Takvim provides accurate prayer times for your exact location and allows donations to charity within the app. To make this possible, we temporarily access:
- Your location – to calculate prayer times and show nearby mosques.
- Donation details – securely handled by our payment partner.
We do not collect or store anything else.
2. Location Data
- Your GPS coordinates never leave your device.
- They are used instantly to:
- Calculate daily prayer times.
- List mosques closest to you.
- Once used, the coordinates are discarded immediately.
- We never record, log, or share your location.
3. Data We Never Collect
- Personal information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, or files.
- Tracking data: advertising IDs or analytics.
- Payment details: full card numbers or bank info.
4. Your Controls
- Location – Turn it off in your phone settings. Prayer times will be less precise, but the app still works.
- Notifications – Disable “Adhan & alerts” in the app settings or system panel.
- Remove Everything – Deleting the app erases all data stored locally.
5. Sharing & Selling Data
- We do not sell or share any data.
- Stripe is the only third party involved, and they only receive data for payment processing.
6. Security
- All sensitive calculations and timetable storage happen locally on your device.
- Stripe encrypts all payment information.
- All data in transit uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
7. Updates to This Policy
- If regulations change or we add new features that require data, this policy will be updated.
- The last updated date at the top reflects the most recent change.
